Captain Chris was born and raised here in south LA. From a very young age, he was already learning how to navigate the local waters while fishing everything from Lafitte to throughout Plaquemines Parish, home to some of the most outstanding and world class fishing! Whether it was inshore fishing for trout, bowfishing for redfish, or offshore fishing for tuna and wahoo, Captain Chris has done it! He can even put ice fishing on his resume.

What does Captain Chris do between fishing trips? He’s scouting for the next one!
 

“I like to make sure I stay up to date on what these fish are doing so my customers have the best chance for success. These fish have to be patterned. The tide, the wind, what bait is abundant, and what season we’re in, all play a role in how they’re moving.”

 

Captain Chris is also a proficient fabricator and welder. Providing services to other fishing guides and local fishermen, repairing, modifying, or building full custom boats!
